Sunday afternoon I was away from home and Barry Bretton was eating an apple and kept telling BR he needed a toothpick cause something was caught in his tooth. Upon observation he noticed his permanent tooth had popped up behind his baby tooth and was making his tooth feel like there was something stuck behind it. The apple made his tooth really loose. When I got home BR told me to check it out. I took a last picture with all of his baby teeth still in and said, "Come on, lets rip that tooth out."
He was great about it and we had it out in no time. He couldn't believe he really lost his first tooth and was on cloud nine for the rest of the day. He wrote a note to the toothfairy which read:
He tells me he can't wait because the toothfairy brings gum (apparently, Ashlyn and a few other friends mentioned the toothfairy brought them gum). Now we are not gum chewers at this house and he could care less about the money. All he wanted was gum. It was the sabbath and our toothfairy told me she was fresh out of gum. So what do you do? Can toothfairies break the sabbath day? Fortunately, our toothfairy borrowed a fresh pack of gum from a neighboring toothfairy who had plenty to spare! So he woke up Monday morning to a pack of gum and four quarters all from a couple of generous toothfairies.

That's hysterical well the tooth fairy does NOT leave gum at this house! LOL! So Natali better not have had anything to do with the gum nonsense...she loves gum too for some unapparent reason. Akk!
Yea Barry Bretton! Congratulations! That is so awesome, and definitely a reason to celebrate. He looks so cute with a hole in his smile! The beginning of great things to come! Your tea party looked like great fun, too! You're so creative.
way to go big guy, was he okay with the whole pulling out the tooth thing? We are excited to see his new smile this weekend.
That is too cute. That is just how Ashlyn's fell out. The toothfairy only brings gum because when I was little the toothfairy always brought sugarfree Trident gum. Kind of a tradition in my house. :)
We have not lost any teeth in our house yet! That is so cute Barry wrote a note to the toothfairy! Cadence liked the picture of him holding his tooth! Congratulations!!
I love his big smile! I am impressed with his writing! Great job Barry Bretton!
