Operation get the truck in the garage

The heat is on in Vegas and we happen to have a smokey HOT black car. Although I love it, it is like a huge oven. Barry mentioned to me a long time ago that the Whittacre's could fit their Excursion in their garage. Well that was the wrong thing to say to one determined, hot women. So we spent all Saturday (much to Barry's dislike) cleaning out the garage. Now, I am embarrassed to say that it took us all day to conquer this task because the garage was in utter chaos. So sorry my picture is in the dark but it was dark by the time we were finished.

So you might ask, exactly how much room is there in the garage now that there is an Excursion parked in it? Not much! The picture on the left is the front bumper all but touching the front wall. The picture on the right is the two inches between the back bumper and the garage door. But hey, it is in and I have a super clean garage!

You are so funny! I am so glad that it fits! Do you want to come clean out my garage next Saturday? Just kidding... we can fit our van in on the one side, but the other side of the garage is another story!

Now how am I going to know if you are home without ringing your doorbell? I won't be able to see your car outside.

ROTFLOL! Yeah...well...did Nathan say how many times I hit the wall though? Good luck with that you might want to hang a tennis ball down where it is time to stop. We still have big gashes in our garage wall from our excursion. (have yet to fix those..) BUT...it is soooo worth having it in there during the summer!

You made quite the jump in size from a jetta to an excursion!

Yes Tara, You are one HOT woman! :) This post made me smile. I love your humor. I second the tennis ball thing, but that's because I know I would hit the wall. I have horrible depth perception.

That's awesome! We went so many years without any garage that we vowed we would never fill it too full for both vehicles to fit in. What an accomplishment! Way to go!

Hi Tara~ Looks like your family is doing well. Your kids are cuties!
Hey I wanted to ask you about those baby slings you made a few years back. Do you have a pattern that you followed? If so can I get it? I was wanting to make one for this next baby I'm about to have. Email me at ethanhull@hotmail.com. I've seen a few different kinds but remember really liking the ones you made. Thanks so much. Good to see you all are doing well!
