Please tell me I am not the only person whose freezer looks like this! I thought every ones did until I had some "friends" over the other day laughing at me saying "Wow, I have never seen anything like this." This is where my mad Tetris skills come in handy to make sure the door shuts but it is organized chaos. I do know where everything is however it just might take a while to pull everything out to get to it. So you might ask what exactly do I keep in there? Well here are the essentials I always keep on hand:
Loaf of wheat bread
French Bread
frozen juice concentrate
bacon
sausage (logs and links)
Pepperoni
hamburger
chicken
roasts (pork & beef)
ice cream (of course)
hot dogs
cheese
Vegetables (peas, beans, corn, broccoli, peppers)
yeast
pie crust
cool whip
cream puffs (you never know when these come in handy:)
meatballs
french fries/tater tots
dinner rolls
emergency homemade dinners for "those" days
cinnamon rolls
strawberries
Popsicles
So my"dirty" little secret it out. I guess now that we have finally bought the piano we need to save for our next major purchase, a deep freeze:)

That reminds me of my childhood. LOL! You know we really don't live that far away if you'd like to borrow space in our deep freeze you really are welcome too ;-D
Mine is always packed full too. I have about 5 bags of corn because I cleaned out my freezer last week and they were buried under the chicken. At least we have corn now:) Last week I actually had to give our frozen (emergency)dinners to the Day's to make room for my bread:)

Hehe...mine normally looks like that, too! I would love a deep freezer! I'm impressed you had homemade emergency meals...I need to really start having those on hand:)
All I can say is, "Wow!" That is some awesome organization to fit all that in there. Way to go!
That is awesome Tara! My freezer doesn't look anything like yours. Although we did lose everything twice in our freezer the past couple of months because our fridge stopped working. So, I am still trying to build up what we once had. John would be loving all that sausage! :)
Fortunately we have a side by side so we have lots of shelves to stuff things in. So it's really helped me organize some what. One to thing to remember, don't put a liquid in an area where it could freeze around a bar or shelf. I now have a large gallon size bag of chili that is stuck in door compartment. uggh, How do I get that out?

That is just how my freezer was before we got a bigger one for our basement. When we went shopping, we had to pretty much empty everything and reorganize. Crazy!

Both of mine look like this! I bought a deep freeze off of craigslist and it has been the best purchase! You should have a look!
