It is so hot here in Vegas lately and I own like 3 pairs of shorts. It is so hard to find modest shorts and fit comfortably. So we went to Target tonight and were just browsing about and I ran into a pair of pants for $4. I thought “score” you can’t bet that and I will just cut them off and make a pair of shorts out of them. I didn’t even try them on cause for $4 I could just bum around the house in them, right? Well after I got the kids in bed, I tried them on. I swear they are the best fitting pair of pants I have ever had! What is the chance of that? Usually I spend hours trying stuff on only to find nothing fits right. Now I can’t break it to myself to cut them off to make shorts so I am still needing some shorts but I do have a great new pair of pants.

Don't you just love a good deal and to have it fit so good? I am in desperate need of some clothes - none of my pants fit me. I just keep hoping I will wake up and they will magically fit, but no such luck. :) I wish all shopping could be as easy as your experience.
That's great! I really don't like trying on clothes, but everytime I try to buy something w/out trying it on, I get home and it looks horrible...I wish I could have that happen to me! (especially for the price you paid:) Good luck w/ finding a new pair of shorts:)
You lucky girl! And what a great deal! Target recently put some summer shirts/pants on the clearance rack and they were $2.87!! Score!
Just a thought. I do not own any shorts and since I never have do not miss them. I find there are some advantages to long pants. Less but bites, scrapes, scratches and dings. So I guess there are some advantages to both and it is not just the heat. Since I garden so much it is easier to kneel on the ground. DAD
