Brahm had his 4 month check up at the doctor's this week and everything went well (until we got home that is). He is my smallest baby at four months, weighing in at only 14 pounds. Barry Bretton and Vallie were over that at 2 months . So he isn't as rolly as my other ones were. That shocked me cause I never thought I would have a baby in 25% in weight. I expected all of the Bulow babies in this house to be cheeky. Also, we found out he doesn't have to do physical therapy for his Torticullis because he has shown so much improvement over the past month with me stretching him. So that is a blessing. However that evening, Vallie came down with a fever and Brahm had a fever and was irritable because of his shots. There is nothing like taking your healthy kids to the doctors only to get 2 of the 3 sick. Brahm was pretty much up all night and Vallie was up a couple of time and vomited once. I actually had to lay down with Brahm in my bed for a little bit just to get a wink of sleep and for anyone that knows me that is a HUGE no, no. I never sleep with my kids in my bed. So when I woke up in the morning (I am using the term "woke up" very loosely cause there was not much sleeping going on), I was so ornery and determined that today was going to do me in. Then my sister told me that one of my optional gymnasts I use to coach was killed in a car accident this morning. I was dumbfounded. Truly I still can't believe it. My prayers are with the Petersen family. The world had truly lost a great girl and athlete today. So in my life it made me pause and think about how I am so ornery that I have sick kids and had to be up all night with them. How selfish that was of me. It made me take a step back to be grateful for my sick kids crying and hanging on my legs. I am so sorry about my bad attitude and I need to celebrate every moment I have with them cause this life is too short.

What a crazy day! I'm so sorry to hear about your friend. It really puts things into perspective when things like that happen. I'm glad to hear that Brahm doesn't need physical therapy. Having gone through that with Avery I can feel your relief. I hope that the kids feel better soon so that you can get some sleep. We need to get together and let the kids play once everyone is better.
I saw this on the news up here and thought she looked like such a nice girl. Did you coach her in St. George? We are so blessed to have the gospel to help through things like this, but it's still so sad for the family. I am sorry your kids were sick and you got no sleep. Those are two of my toughest parts of being a mom - sick kids and no sleep. I hope that you're getting more sleep now.
That is so sad. It is so hard getting news like that! It makes you count your blessings even more. I'm glad Brahm doesn't need physical therapy, but if you ever need Mike's assistance let us know :)
I'm sorry to hear about your friend. She was a beautiful girl.
Glad to hear Brahm is doing well.
