Rakel and Kids

My sister Rakel came down for Brahm's baby blessing. Her husband was away on business so she decided to stay for a couple of days since she didn't have to hurry home. Vallie and Barry Bretton just loved playing with Austin and I just loved having someone over the age of 5 to talk to all day while we sat around nursing and tending to kids/babies. We didn't do anything but just sat and enjoy kids and each other. It was so nice to have her here.
Here is a picture of Alayna (Rakel's new little addition) and Brahm. They are basically 1 month apart, almost to the day. Notice Brahm's little cheeks. He is starting to fill out and I just love his cheeky little smiles. I have not yet been able to catch one on a picture yet though. While they were here. We took the training wheels off Barry Bretton's bike to teach him how to ride. He just loves riding his bike and we just about do it everyday but we hadn't taken the time to do it yet. He caught on lickity split and now can't wait to go out and ride everyday. So here are some picture of him riding out in front of the house. At first he was having a hard time starting off by himself, so BR decided to show him on his bike. I couldn't resist talking a picture of that. So I snapped a picture when his back was turned so he wouldn't see me. I thought it was so funny. He looks like a circus bear on a miniature bike. Too funny. He is such a good dad!

Hey Tara! I would love to take your pictures when you come up. Last night I was remember when we used to hang out and Peyton and Berry Brentton would play. We had fun together. I am going to add you to my list of blogs to check.

That is so fun that you and Rakel have kids close in age. I'm so glad she got to come hang out with you. I bet it provided some sanity for your days. I love the picture of BR on the bike - so funny. I could see John doing the same thing, but John would probably crash.
Thanks for all your kind comments on my blog. It's nice to feel like I have contact with the outside world:).

How fun. It's so fun to have a sister with kids close in age and it's always nice to have adult conversation.

That is so great that you had visitors! Especially with newborns! It's amazing how much better things go when you just have someone to talk to through the day. I love to see your cute pictures!
