This bag is not a toy

We just got a much needed dishwasher and Barry was hooking it up but in order for him to get to the plugs in the back he had to empty my grocery bag drawer. After grocery shopping I always stuff all the bags into a little drawer in case I need them for anything. Well it is amazing how many plastic bags you can fit in such a small space. They seriously covered my entire living room floor. The kids just thought this was fabulous. They just piled them up like leaves then would jump into them and roll around like it was fall time. They played in them for a good hour or so (of course under adult supervision). I just thought it was hilarious. I think we desperately need to make a trip to the recycling bag center at the grocery store. I am not a pack rat in the least bit, I truly get rid of everything so it is amazing to me that I held on to this many plastic bags. Wow!

That is so funny. I have a little grocery bag holder. I wonder how many are in there. The kids would love to play in them too.

Tara,
I use cotton bags that are re-usable. This really cuts down on the amount of bags I bring home. I have been collecting them (the cotton bags) for years, I have some really cute ones. They seem to sell them all over now. It is the hip thing to do now I guess:)

I have a ton of bags too, but I use a lot of them for John to take his lunch to work. I also use them for dirty diapers. My kids would have loved that too. It's so funny what kids love for entertainment.

How fun! Grocery bags- who knew? I'm sure Brahn's surgery will go well. Noah was put under about a month ago and it's nerve-racking but modern medicine is wonderful! Also, I absolutely LOVE the dress you made for Vallie- you are so amazing! Can't wait to see it on her Easter Sunday.
