Brahm has grow up so fast I can't believe it. Here he is pulling himself up on the couch. Look how proud he is.
Also this week he has learned how to crawl up the stairs. One thing I love about our house is that our family room is sunken. All of my babies have loved this feature and take to stair early cause they have this two step training ground. They just play going up and going down trying to master the skill thinking it is the funnest thing they have ever done.

This week we took the kids to the pumpkin patch just for fun. We gave each of them 10 tickets they could choose to spend on what they wanted and encouraged they to spend wisely and make good choices to help teach management. Well Barry Bretton just had to play this game where you take the sledge hammer and slam it down trying to ring a bell. The game took THREE tickets (which I thought was way to many) and it was totally a grown up game not for a five year old. We tried to convince him that it would be "wasting" his tickets but he insisted on the game. Barry and I decided to let him do it and he would learn a lesson when he didn't have any tickets left to ride the rides with Vallie. To our amazement, he went up and totally rang the bell. Barry and my jaw just dropped. I guess the student has become the teacher. So here he is holding the bat he won as a prize.

I visiting taught a little lady in the Serene Ward for years (even before she was a member of the church). She has two kids one is a little girl a year older than Vallie. Through this time, Spring and I grew to be great friends. She still always gives Vallie her hand-me-downs from her little one. It is like Christmas at the Bulow house when Spring comes. We just love hand-me-down and put them to good use. They really are such a blessing when you have lots of little ones to clothe. Vallie loves to try all the clothes on. It takes her a couple of hours to put EVERYTHING on and take EVERYTHING off "all by herself". Man I can't imagine what she is going to be like as a teenager. Here she is modeling one of her favorites and hanging the "fancy" dresses all over the house.

I don't know how many of you feel about visiting teaching but it is such a blessing to me. There has never been a family Barry or I have taught that has not enriched our lives more than we could ever do for them in return. I swear I never leave a home completely uplifted on so many levels by those I am suppose to be teaching. What a divine program.

This was such a fun post to read. I can't believe all the things Brahm can do now. The two stairs in your family room is perfect for babies. I love hand me downs! Those clothes look brand new! I had the best visiting teacher ever in St. George. To this day she still calls me on my birthday! I love reading your blog!
I'm glad Brahm and I are buddies now, and I can't wait to see Vallie in all her new dresses! Tell Barry Bretton "way to go" for ringing the bell. You just never know what kids will do. =)
Brahm is getting so big...my kids take forever learning to climb up stairs. (probably because we don't have stairs!) And go Barry Bretton...looks like Natali Whittacre will have something else to write about:)LOL. I love, love those dresses Spring gave Vallie! Hand-me-downs are the best, especially when they are so dang cute:) I'm such a flake and totally forgot to call you back about visiting teaching last week. Let me know when you want to come over this month...I promise I'll call you back:)
I was just telling my kids today that Chloe is going to be crawling soon, so we will have to baby proof the house! We have stairs in our house, and I am already freaking out about her falling down them!
Arielle is sitting with me looking at your blog, and she just said "oh, I like Vallie's dresses."
That is so cute about Barry ringing the bell!!
