Kids say the darndest things!

I was at the store today and while we were checking out Barry Bretton spotted a treat on the shelf. He turned to me and said, "Hey, that is the same treat Santa leaves for us every year". I don't know about your house but Santa leaves the same things in our Stockings every year, its tradition. This is how our conversation finished:

Barry Bretton: Mom why don't you buy some of those?
Mom: Not today love.
Barry Bretton: Well you could just buy them and then stick them in our stockings for Christmas and pretend that you are Santa Clause.
Mom: Really? That sounds like a great idea.

Hi I link to your blog from my sisters (Tara Truman). I used to work at SSM with Barry. I laughed right out loud when I read this. I love when kids open their mouths, the funniest things always come out. Thanks for sharing and giving me a little laugh.

He is too smart for his own good! I hope he doesn't stop believing soon. That always makes me sad when the kids start figuring things out.
