Barry turns 33!

Barry’s 33rd Birthday is upon us so I am writing 33 well to little known facts about him (I stole this idea from my sweet friend Angie, Thanks). Happy Birthday babe. Man, MID-thirties must be rough! Ha, Ha.

1. He grew up in Panaca, NV (population of under 1000).
2. He hates big cities and Las Vegas is the only big city he has ever lived in.
3. He served his mission in Fresno, CA (as he would say, “Where the men are men and the rest are grapes”).
4. One of his life long dreams would be to build custom guns when he retires.
5. He wishes he owned and operated a farm for a living (farmer, accountant are they even close?)
6. He ran in State track all four high school years.
7. He participated in high school basketball, football, and track.
8. He plays the trumpet.
9. He says his favorite color is black (I think he needs to choose a new one cause black really isn’t a color).
10. He LOVES diesel engines (if you can’t tell by the cars we drive).
11. He is very mechanical minded and can fix and figure out anything we (I guess I should say I or the kids) ever brake in the house.
12. He HATES things on his clothes (can you say OCD).
13. He almost always only wears long sleeve, button up, collared shirts and has well before I have ever known him.
14. He never wears shorts, EVER!
15. He is the type that has a couple great friends and is loyal to them his whole life. He is very slow and cautious to make any new friends.
16. For a treat he loves Gatorade, beef jerky, or snickers candy bars.
17. Never, can I repeat never do something to harm a family member. He has some Wyatt Urp tendencies.
18. He is also a complete germiphobe just like Howard Hughes
19. His favorite hobbies include woodworking, archery, anything that has to do with guns, fishing, gardening and …
20. He loves the prophet Joseph Smith.
21. Doesn’t care for dessert much but would eat meat any time of the day.
22. He is a night owl.
23. He hates swimming in public pools.
24. He emails his mom everyday (he is a real mamas boy).
25. He is very frugal and hardly ever spends money.
26. He loves music and knows titles and artists in almost every genre of music (but I will always kill him in oldies).
27. He would move from Las Vegas in a heartbeat, hey wouldn’t we all.
28. He is a second child with two brothers and two sisters in his family.
29. He can’t wait to serve another mission for the church.
30. People think he is with quite and withdrawn however he is not like that around loved ones.
31. He loves books and is very particular about how one should be opened and read.
32. He always thought he would join the military when he grew up and if wasn’t for me he probably would have. He even still thinks about it from time to time.
33. There is not a politician in the world who is conservative enough for him.
