Family Fun

Here is what we have been up to lately. We have finally put Barry Bretton in swimming lessons. He is conquered alot of fear so we are very proud of him even though he is not quit swimming by himself yet. He has one more week of them though so hopefully things will go well. I am a swimming fanatic so really I don't understand why he was so afraid of water he must get that from his dad.Ever since Curious George went bowling, Barry Bretton has wanted to go bowling. Yes bowling, yucky shoes, old man sport in a smoke filled room, yes all that great stuff. To say the least we tried to stay away from it and for a few MONTHS it worked however we finally took him bowling the other day and he just love it. Here is a quick lesson.
And away he goes.He caught on quick and this picture just cracks me up. This is him saying, "Whooo hooo! I just knocked all the pins down." He got a spare.

Here is daddy's turn and thank goodness he got a little help from Vallie.

As you can see, the way the ball came up magically out of the hole was quit a novelty.

Although she didn't bowl (expect with dad), Vallie had a great time. She thought the floor made a pretty sweet dancing stage. She turned and danced on it the whole time.

Brahm even had a blast with all the colors and sounds around.

All in all a great time was had by all. As you can see, I won with my out of sight 82 points, Wow! (remember BR had a little helper). It was a fun little family outing. Now, Barry Bretton can't figure out why we won't sign him up for a league!

Bekah is doing her first session of swimming lessons too. She isn't really "swimming" either, but has a lot of fun.

I loved reading about your family bowling adventure. Vallie is hilarious. My parents have a Wii and that is my kind of bowling.

Thank you for the b-day card you emailed. I loved it!

What a great family outing and I see you did have a lot of fun. I could not see who's score's was who's but it looks as if BBB score was a good as yours. Great for a first time. It does look like you need a lesson. DAD
