I have a few things that have loooong since past that I wanted to blog about in no particular order.
Barry Bretton received his Wolf! He loves cub scouts and is trying to get everything he can. He says he wants to get every requirement and elective done and he is well on his way. He often works on it all by himself and already has 7 arrowpoint, 15 beltloops, his religious square knot, and world conservation award and he doesn't go to Bears until December.
He is totally a super scouter. The cubmaster jokes with him every pack meeting that he needs a wheelbarrow to carry all his awards around with him.
We spent Easter up with Grandparents. Here they are dressed in their Sunday best (yes, I made Vallie's dress).
We spent the weekend having dutch oven dinners, BBQ's and smores over the fire pit, hunting for eggs, and just loving being around family.
Brahm counting his loot.
Barry Bretton falling in a bush to get an egg.
Here the cousins are before the big hunt! I really am the worst picture taker and always forget my camera so I only have pictures at the Christensen's house. Just in general, my kids will have little picture to remember their childhood. I never have my camera with me.
Vallie searching for eggs in the grape arbor. I have to say, my parents yard is the best place in the world for Easter egg hunts. My kids are SOOOO lucky. If you have not seen their yard, you must. It is amazing.
Brahm turned three.......in January! I know, how terrible am I considering it is the end of June. Brahm is such a cutie. He is high energy, mischievous, competitive and defiantly adds some spice and spunk to the family. He is a huge mama's boy, still! I keep waiting for him to out grow it but I am beginning to think that it is just his personality. He still cuddles with me daily and needs physical reassurance for love and a job well done. That being said, he is very physical and will swing a punch at you (or his sister:) if a line is crossed. We are working on that. He loves babies. He will sit and hold, feed, or play with babies for hours at a time. Also, he loves baseball. Everyday he hits balls outside by himself. One day, I didn't know where he was and he wasn't answering me. I was starting to get worried when I found him outside hitting wiffle balls off a tee. Now it is to be expected. Everyday he pulls the tee, bat, and balls out and practises all by himself. Not your typical three year old but he can already hit a wiffle ball over the neighbors fence (now these are Vegas yards so only about 30 ft). We have signed him up for T-ball this fall and he talks about it everyday. He is our ball boy.

Barry Bretton participated in his first science fair this year. He wanted to test how many licks it takes to get to the center of a Tootsie roll pop. We had tons of fun helping him get his data. With the help of his Grandma and her students at Fossil Ridge we ending up with about 200 samples to use as data. Then he compiled the information and created graphs to get the max, min, and average amount of lick to the center. Which was 489. Then he used the variables of age, sex, and color of pop to see if that altered the data in any way. He had a great time with it and we can't wait until next years science fair. For his display he had a board with his data on it and a computer hooked up with some of the old fashion tootsie pop commercials playing, like the one with Mr. Owl. Super Fun!
