Odds and Ends

Here are some random odds and ends which have been happening at our house lately.
Brahm fell asleep on me during conference yesterday. When it was over I just laid him down on the couch instead of putting him in bed. Well, he rolled off and got a tile facial knocking his two front teeth back, cutting his lip up bad and a big goose egg on the forehead. I feel like a real winner (bad mommy). I guess we will have to see if his teeth are dead.
I french braided Vallie's hair today (this picture was taken after a full day of playing). I love to braid hair and when I was a little girl I couldn't wait to have a daughter so I could braid her hair. She loved it:) I can't wait to try new braids on her.
Barry Bretton has found a new love in Cat's Cradle.
Barry Bretton has had two basketball games this year so far. I signed him up for basketball so he could get some PE (BR wasn't too happy with me). You see, Barry Bretton isn't so coordinated and BR loves basketball so it drives him crazy but I have to say he is greatly improving from the first of the season. (Disclaimer: BR does not have an issue with Barry Bretton's lack of coordination. Basketball is a long story that BR typical does not share with anyone. He has spent 18 years trying to forget the said story. BR is very proud of Barry Bretton's talents and abilities. BR loves blogs, he will be forever know as a horrible husband and father. Thanks Dear!)
Finally, I just have to ask, What does this remind you of? Do any of you see what I see?
This is our front room in our house. You know where all your formal furniture is suppose to go. Well, we don't have any yet and probably won't for some time so it remains empty. However, every time I pass this room it seem to call "dance studio." Part of me is serious about slapping some mirrors and barres on the wall, adding some mats and teaching gymnastics and dance to my children all day long:) Wouldn't that be fun! Those of you that know me well know how truly serious I really am. Except for the all day part. I mean we would have drink breaks every now and then;)

That is the oddest tile I've ever seen! I would totally do dance and gym class, though. Who uses formal rooms any more these days? That's just more dusting. No thank you. Tumbling mats? Yes please.

Poor Brahm, I hope he heals quickly! I love the braids. My girls are quite bossy about their hairdos so I have to ask permission to do something cute! I have a friend with a "dancing room" and they love it!!

I have been so bad at blogging lately, but I love reading your updates so keep them coming! :) I wish I lived closer so we could dance together with our kids. That would be so fun!! I love Vallie's braids. One day, I'll attempt them on Bekah, but she is not patient with me at all when I do her hair. Plus, I doubt my braids would turn out as good as yours! :)I can just see BR at Barry's b-ball games. Ha. Ha.
