I just wanted to quickly post a few things that happened this week!
We got our barstools and our kitchen/nook is officially done.
Next, Barry Bretton lost a top front tooth! He is so excited to drink through straws all the time with his teeth clinched:)
Finally, we got our front yard finished this week. In the subdivision we live in, they give you a month to get it done so we were under the gun but if you know us well, you know we love gardening. We couldn't be happier about how it turned out especially because at the beginning of the week it was "moonscape" (everything was completely dead). We even had to redue all the irrigation because all the pipes were broken.
We planted two almond trees! I can't wait.
Now on to the back yard!

Tara, Thanks for all the book suggestions for Grant! That really helps me a ton. I'm excited to reserve some of these! Maybe one of these days we'll be able to get our family together to meet officially. I'm sure we'd have a great time, and I know our boys would hit it off!

Wow! You guys have been so busy! You're yard looks amazing! And the barstools go great in the kitchen, how fun! Love to see all the fun projects you're up too! (and can't wait to see the backyard!)
I'm so glad you put some pictures up of the house! It looks great. I bet it feels good to be in a permanent place of your own again!
