Dining Room

Yeah! everything is basically back in place. It really took alot longer than I figured but I did have three kids to HELP (I think that is what you call it) and some of the busiest times I have had yet with Relief Society so I am glad I got this far. We have basically finished the dining room so here are some before and after shots.

I made curtains and painted the wall brown (same as the bathroom) however it is hard to see because the sun is beaming in the window.

I painted the table, chairs and the hutch black. Moved the clock to the living room and placed what Barry likes to call my Modern Art Piece in its place. Replaced the plant on the hutch with some vases.

Hung pictures of the Las Vegas and St George temple plus the Proclamation. Painted our Family Home Evening Board to match the wall but I am waiting for the vinyl for it and a wooden ordainment that is going in the square in the middle.

Here is a picture of the tile plus the base boards Barry and I put in.

I reupholstered the chairs and added a thick plastic so little hands would not wipe spaghetti sauce or other fun things on them. Yeah! We are no so much more kid friendly around this joint. It brings a whole new meaning not to cry over spilled milk. I have loved just wiping up messes with a rag. What a luxury!

It looks so good! It's like you're in a whole new house. What kind of paint did you use to paint your table and hutch?

Everything looks wonderful! Great job. Your talents are never-ending. Having plastic on my chairs was the smartest thing I have ever done! I just giggle while wiping up messes and think " what if...". It's great.

It looks amazing! You worked so hard I can tell. I'm interested in how you painted your table and hutch? A special kind of paint/stain? It all looks great!
