For Halloween this year Vallie wanted to be a peacock. Terrific! I knew this could be easy. So I ordered some feathers and using some fabric I had, made her a shiny dress. Viola, a peacock!
Brahm wanted to be, "anything that has a sword." Well I happened to have an adorable Prince Charming costume that I had made Barry Bretton. I just altered it to fit Brahm. Viola, Prince Charming with a sword:)
Barry Bretton has been going through a spy faze to say the least. Everything is about spies. He has even started his own spy club with some of the boys around the neighborhood and at church (secret meetings and everything). So naturally he wanted to be a spy for Halloween. I just altered one of my trench coats. Viola, Spy!
So Halloween costumes were pretty simple around our house this year but the kids all loved them.
All my neighbors are crazy into Halloween. I think they have more decorations up for Halloween than they do Christmas (which is really saying something). Our house is totally out of sort with the rest of the neighbors houses with only our paper crafts the kids and I have put together hanging up. Anyhow, here are the kids approaching their first doors (our neighbors right next to us). Totally spooky. BR took them around and I passed out candy (and made caramel and hot chocolate for when they arrived home).

They look great! Way to go with the costumes!
I love all their costumes! I love your decorations... I am more into the cute Halloween stuff then the scary stuff. :)
