Because of my love for oldies, I had to do a shout out to Nancy Sinatra for this post.Last week, Brahm hurt his foot trying to walk in adult size tennis shoes. My first thought was that it was broken but I was calmed down quickly that it was probably just a sprain. After all mother always overreact. Well he limped around on it for a week trying not to put weight on it. So I made an appointment with our favorite Podiatrist, Dr. Wood to see if there was something more serious. I found out a couple of things on my visit. 1. Babies feet are still mostly made up of cartilage so if there is a fracture in the foot there is little way to see it on a X-ray and 2. Fractures in babies heal in about 2 weeks. So anyway, Brahm is in this little boot for the next little while to try to help him walk better.
This is what I have been seeing alot of lately. Him hanging on me, wanting me to carry him everywhere. Poor little thing and poor mommy!
Barry Bretton also had his first piano recital this past week. He did terrific. He played four songs the first one we blanked out 3 notes from the end and didn't know what to do:( When he sat down he said, "All those people looking at me made me really nervous. I couldn't remember my song." But he killed the next three songs and was so proud of himself.

These last two pictures I just thought were so cute. Even Brahm is totally trying to get into school. They grow up way to fast.

Poor little guy! I hope it heals quickly! Way to go Barry Bretton! Piano is a skill you will never regret learning! Cute kids. How's the house buying going?
My Dad loved that song! I remember you listening to all of your oldies - you knew every song! :)
Kids sure do make life exciting! There is always something. I hope Brahm gets feeling better soon, for his sake and yours.
Barry Bretton looks so handsome in his suit!
