Girls Room (ie. Vallie's)

We had to get Vallie out of the crib to get it ready for the baby so I have been working on getting her room done and have finally finished it so I wanted to post some picture of what it looked like. Her room is a dragonfly, asian theme. This is a picture of her bed that my father and Barry made for her. My job was to paint it black and then I made the linens for it. Here is a picture of her dresser.

Here is a close up shot of some of the dragonflies I made out of ribbon that are flying around her room.

This last picture you can kindof see the curtains and the chinese lanterns I have hung.

She loves her room and thinks she is a princess in her bed so we have had no problem with her staying in bed so far. I hope it stays that way cause I am worried she will get ticked about the crib getting robbed from her but she doesn't seem to miss it so far.

Tara, Vallie's room is absolutely beautiful! I love the colors and everything about it. I had no idea your Dad was so talented with woodwork. Please do post a picture of the cradle he made too. I am thinking of you these next few exciting days!
